• Samantha Johnson, MA, LGSW

    Samantha Johnson has a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University and is a licensed graduate social worker (LGSW) in the state of Minnesota. She is an Early Childhood Mental Health Practitioner for the PASS Day Treatment program and provides in-home services for children and families. She also collaborates with other systems, such as day cares and schools, in order to provide children and families with the best possible support.

    Samantha enjoys working with clients and their families, is passionate about meeting clients where they are at and joining with parents to support their children’s mental health and well-being.

    Children, particularly teens, are affected tremendously by the peers they spend time with. In fact, the most direct influence on delinquent behavior in youth is a negative peer group. Parents need to be aware and concerned about the peers their child is spending time with.

    So what can a parent do about this? After all they can' t supervise their kids 24/7.
