MarKeyda Smith Ahmed is an Early Childhood Mental Health Practitioner in the PASS Preschool Day Treatment program. She graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2010. MarKeyda has several years of experience working with preschool age children from diverse ethnic, social, and cultural backgrounds. Most who have suffered from trauma. Her passion is to help children cope with the world around them by teaching them the necessary skills they need to self regulate, in an environment where they have little control over much except managing their own behavior.
MarKeyda aspires to be the best she can be, not only for herself but for those around her as well. In her leisure time she enjoys singing, laughing, reading, and spending time with the ones she loves.
